چکیده

The study of metal poor stars provides clarification and knowledge about the primordial Universe. Specially, halo provide explanations nature first generations nucleosynthesis in metal-poor regime. We present a detailed chemical analysis determination kinematic orbital properties two characterized by high speed with respect to Sun. analyzed high-resolution Subaru spectra employing MyGIsFOS code, which allows derive abundances for 28 elements (C, N, O, Na, Mg, Al, Si, Ca, Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Sr, Y, Zr, Ba, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu), abundance from ionization states case four (Ti, Zr). TYC 622–742–1 1193–1918–1 are ([Fe/H] ?2.37 ?1.60), they similar pattern enhanced show slight excess Eu abundance. Both giant C rich as expected evolved stars, this fact is supported low isotopic ratio 1193–1918–1. Nevertheless, particularly low. have composition other Galactic comparable metallicity. According their kinematics, both belong halo, but not part Gaia-Sausage-Enceladus structure.

On the galactic latitude distribution of rotational velocity for evolved stars

We study the galactic latitude distribution of rotational velocity of a large sample of about 1 220 evolved stars of luminosity classes IV, III, II and Ib, with spectral types F, G and K. We show that there is a tendency for stars with enhanced rotational velocity to concentrate near the galactic plane. Such a trend is more evident for the more evolved stars.

Maser studies in evolved stars

High resolution maps of maser emission provide very detailed information on processes occurring in circumstellar envelopes of late-type stars. A particularly detailed picture of the innermost shells around AGB stars is provided by SiO masers. Considerable progress is being made to provide astrometrically aligned multi-transition simultaneous observations of these masers, which are needed to bet...

Reprocessing the Hipparcos data of evolved stars

We analyze the K band luminosities of a sample of galactic long-period variables using parallaxes measured by the Hipparcos mission. The parallaxes are in most cases re-computed from the Hipparcos Intermediate Astrometric Data using improved astrometric fits and chromaticity corrections. The K band magnitudes are taken from the literature and from measurements by COBE, and are corrected for int...

Spectropolarimetry of Young and Evolved Stars

Circumstellar disks play an important role in many stages of the evolution of stars. However, it is only possible to directly image circumstellar disks for a few of the nearest stars. For massive stars, the situation is even more difficult, as they are on average further away than the more numerous low mass stars. In order to shed light on such disks we are pursuing a programme of spectropolari...

Formation of Double Rings around Evolved Stars

I propose a scenario for the formation of double-ring systems, as observed in some planetary nebulae and in the outer rings of SN 1987A. In this scenario, two jets, one jet on each side of the equatorial plane, expand into a thin, dense shell. Such a flow is expected in binary systems where the mass-losing primary undergoes an impulsive mass loss episode which forms a thin, dense shell. I assum...
